I was but then I got distracted 😝.

if I finish the gathering part of my current project (that sounds weird and cryptic; I am making a found poem. probably two. maybe three.) tonight, then tomorrow I shall lose myself in lino blocks.

rereads my last post I forgot to mention i need to carve the lino block for my cover.

and when my brain has more capacity then I do the admin. because I am TOO DISTRACTABLE ATM DAMMIT.

For the record, I commission my book covers. I don't make them myself the way I would for my comics. Mostly because I'm writing in a genre where the cover expectations are very different than my wheelhouse.

but it's such a pretty font. like you could have chosen impact font. but the swirly one is nice.

and compliments to the artist you commissioned because tis very lovely covers!

I'm making my cover art because I feel like a book of poems can have "Forbidden" floating above a print of spilled fruits and have it work nicely.

altho now I am thinking do I lino block oooooor do I do a pretty drawing and use editing software to make it pastel. leaning towards the latter.

anyway! forbidden (fruits) is my decided title. she will be published. soon.
