I missed the Introduction thread until now because I'm a mess

Hi everyone! I'm Lindsey but go by ElectricBudgie as my handle, because Zapdos is my favorite Pokemon and I really like budgerigars (aka 'parakeets' for non-bird nerds.) I'm a queer, autistic, software dev, go by she/they pronouns, and identify as a witch.
I foundBS-Free Witchcraft when I started looking seriously into witchcraft a few years ago, and I'm so thankful I did, because Trae is such a great voice of reason in a sea of... well, BS that can come out of occult spaces and I really appreciate their perspective. Of course, whenHex Positive got started, I was very on-board and adore Bree as well 🙂
I'm also excited for the idea of forums coming back as an online medium, as I'm pretty sick of social media, and prefer smaller online spaces (I do like Discord as well but agree that there is an in inherent danger in your online community being in the hands of a Big Tech Company).
I tend to lurk but am hoping to try and get out of my shell a bit more. 🙂 Happy to be here!
