The Lesbian Hot Fuzz Anime Gave me Euphoria

So I just finished watching Lycoris Recoil and I cannot tell you how much joy it gave me.
Honestly think Hot Fuzz but replace cops played by funny men, with teenage fixers and fight sequences on the same level with John Wick.

There’s a lot to love, beyond the gorgeous animation and brilliant fight choreography, the two main characters and their chemistry is so sincere and with the series featuring other canonically queer characters, it feels nearly impossible to read the two leads, Chisato and Takina, as anything but romantic.

There’s also some sincerely great father-daughter moments between Chisato and her surrogate father/teacher.

I’m having trouble explaining how much joy these 13 episodes gave me.
