Emergency help with correspondence

I've been prepping a spell for weeks, but I can't for the life of me find an herb that is associated with hearing. The purpose of the spell is to bring an inanimate object to "life" and I'm using herbs to "awaken" its senses, but I miss the hearing one. All I can find on the internet are ayurvedic herbs to contrast hearing loss, but that's not quite right. Also, I have no business doing ayurveda.
Can anyone think of something? Possibly something not too hard to find? I'm going to choose an air-associated herb otherwise, but it bums me out because it breaks the combo. Alternatively, I could pick an herb for communication and use it for both hearing and speaking. Dunno...

personally I make my own correspondences most of the time. so for example, hearing - I might try to consider a herb that rustles in the wind, so I'd be thinking woody herbs like thyme or rosemary or lavender, or moving away from herbs, something like corn husks or long, sweet smelling grasses.
