I'm blogging this on my tumblr, so this all may look familiar, but I really do like forums...
I'm building an outdoor altar to start practicing in a more dedicated way, and it's sloow going, but that's okay, actually, it's part of my reason of taking up my own witchcraft, to have something in my life that emphasizes my intuition and my own metaphorical metronome.
I'm a maker by disposition, so I want my finger prints to be over everything made, but I do have just a little bit of sense, and am going to purchase a set of altar tools, which is a really fun process, BTW. I got my first today, a cauldron, there were many rabbit holes explored for this one. It was important for my ritual space to be iron-free, cuz fae and I am so interested in bronze-age culture, it's all connected. So I learned a bit about historical cookware, and about various purchase sources, and safety concerns, and etc, etc.
I got my cauldron this weekend, it's sold as a kettle body for a peyote drum for Native American ritual, I don't plan on using it for wet work. It's not exactly as they indicated, but I'm happy with it.
