it's been a wild six months. summary:

got made redundant
now work at a rescue farm (donkeys! goats! piggies! and more!)
published my poetry book
set up a stall at a local artist's market
ADVENTURES GALORE

thankee! honestly the redundancy was a good thing- happier than I have been in the last five years! now I get to work in a place that does a lot of good and help it grow. AND I get to sell my creations and my poems! both are steps I probably wouldn't have taken if I was still writing code for a living.

@Dr Glowcat thanks, it's absolutely lovely working there. I love that my role is very community oriented and focussed on helping them grow- plus being able to give the animals a cuddle when I get a few moments is beyond wonderful!

Your front matter is fine by the way. That video I put out today was mostly complaining about completely different authors and was completely unrelated to your book
