Ten Sticks

I'm a newly practicing witch, and one of the challenges I have right now is that I have terrible handwriting and at least middling high standards for aesthetics. I've considered keeping writings on a designated digital device with a keyboard, but I'm not sure it feels right. Also I'm considering taking up calligraphy, but not sure I have room for ONE MORE HOBBY. Any other witches have similar situations or thoughts, what do you do?

I mean, to me my bad handwriting is part of what makes my BoS mine, y'know?

The more you write, the better your handwriting will get. Eventually your BoS will serve as a sort of progress log. I'm not sure if I'm communicating correctly, but it's sort of like a memory keeper.

So, I decided to do hand-written, and just use the opportunity to improve my handwriting. I learned cursive in Elementary school, but that was a very long time ago and I haven't used it since High School. I'm going to re-learn cursive in a more fancy script style that I can also use for everyday, and use that with my magical writings. I guess I'm seeing it less as taking up a hobby of calligraphy, and more like correcting a problem, it seems more responsible with that framing.

Don't worry, it's absolutely impossible to use ink without somehow covering your hands it it... and that's from someone who took lessons in ink drawing.
Your page looks pretty good though, IMO!

the imperfections is, to me, what makes a handwritten anything absolutely beautiful. it's so wonderfully besmirched and tangible.
